Wednesday trips for February 2011

Hello to all members of the Juan de Fuca over-55 activity centre.

We've arranged some interesting Let's Do It Trips (Wednesday trips)  for February and are looking forward to seeing you there.  Remember to buy tickets for all the trips you plan to attend.  Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 8:30 am in the lounge.

2 February – MUSEUM / IMAX

Depart: 9:30am 

Cost: $5 + admission + lunch

We'll arrive at the museum at 10:00am, take in a viewing of the Imax projection room, browse the museum and view an Imax show before heading off for lunch at Samuel's by the Park restaurant. We may be able take in a stroll in Beacon Hill Park (weather permitting)  before leaving for the centre.

9 February – CFB ESQUIMALT
NAVAL & MILITARY MUSEUM / CHINATOWN BROWSE

Depart: 10:00am

Cost: $6 + lunch

We'll arrive at the naval and military museum at around 11:00 am (after a mystery stop en route)  and do the guided tour.  Lunch will be at the recently remodeled restaurant on the base. The food is great, and prices are very reasonable. After lunch we should have time for a Chinatown browse before returning to the centre.
